  9. Installation
  10. ============
  11.  
  12. 1) Make a backup copy of all *.MDB files.
  13.  
  14. 2) FULL INSTALL
  15.    ============
  16.  
  17.    Run 'SETUP.EXE' -- that's it!
  18.  
  19.    LITE UPDATE 
  20.    ===========
  21.  
  22.    Extract Files to your 'Loki Diary' directory.
  23.  
  24.    All DLL, VBX, and OCX files need to be moved to the \windows\system
  25.    directory (if included with archive)
  26.  
  27.    If, whenn you run the program you if it says DLL, VBX, or OCX files
  28.    are needed or you get a 'run-time' error then you need to download
  29.    and install the FULL INSTALL
  30.  
  31. 3) Windows 3.x only (Windows95 and WindowsNT users skp to step 4)
  32.  
  33.    Add 'SHARE.EXE' to your Autoexec.Bat if it not already there.  This
  34.    file is not included with Loki Diary since it should come with your
  35.    Operating System and it is different for different Operating Systems.

  37. 4) Run the Program
  38.  
  39. 5) Create a new database from the 'FILE/NEW' command
  40.  
  41. In the 16-bit version the program will automatically create a INI file
  42. in the \windows directory.
  43.  
  44. In the 32-bit version the program will automatically create an entry in
  45. the registration database (you can edit this through 'regedit.exe' that
  46. comes with Windows)

  48. Registration
  49. ============

  51. Once you register, you will have license to use both the 16-bit and 32-bit
  52. versions as well as free upgrades for two years from the date you receive
  53. your registration password.
  54.  
  55. The current registration amount is US $15.00 when registering via mail
  56.  
  57. You can register Loki Diary by:

  66. 2. Please make sure you send your full name, postal address, and email
  67.    address with your registration.

  69. 3. If you are going to send anything other than a US check or money/postal
  70.    order, please email me first to make sure I can accept it. Note that if
  71.    the postal order is not from the US, it should be made out in US Dollars.

  73. Once I have received your registration, I will send you an email with your
  74. registration password. If you've submitted a registration and haven't
  75. received a reply, you can email me at 'lokidog@idt.net' to check up on the
  76. status of your registration.

  78. Use of Program
  79. ==============

  81. The program has a text box for writing in the diary.  You can click on any
  82. day on the calendar to change to a differenct day.  There are buttons to
  83. change year and month as well as to jump back to the current day.  In the
  84. text window you can click with the right button for a pop-up menu.
